Kaleigh McGee grew up in Birmingham, Alabama where she began studying piano at age seven and clarinet in the middle school band program. Kaleigh received her bachelor's degree in clarinet performance from Auburn University where she studied with Dr. David Odom. Kaleigh also received a minor in French language at Auburn. A member of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity, Kaleigh previously served as the Auburn chapter’s Recording Secretary, Vice President of Membership and President. Kaleigh has held such positions as production crew at the Gogue Performing Arts Center, choral accompanist at Auburn United Methodist Church, and rehearsal pianist at New Albany Community Playhouse. At Ohio State, Kaleigh is serving as a graduate teaching assistant in the clarinet studio as well as band librarian. Additionally, Kaleigh is pursuing a certification in clarinet repair.
