Conducting

Ohio State enjoys an international reputation as a leader in conducting pedagogy. Undergraduate music majors enroll in courses at the beginning, intermediate and advanced levels for vocalists and instrumentalists. Classes are designed to allow students practical application on the podium.

Ensembles

Music students at The Ohio State University participate in ensemble performance studies through a wide range of choral and instrumental groups. There are opportunities for chamber music and large ensemble performance, all of which are designed for extensive repertoire development and public appearances both on campus and in the broader community at the regional, national and international levels.
