A word "from the podium" — July 2026

What a wonderful MGC Alumni Society reunion we had. 74 singers (current students and alumni) gathered for a weekend of rehearsals and a concert.  Good music making, much laughter, and memories shared were a part of the recipe for success. The 2026 Distinguished Service Award was presented to musician/pianist Casey L. Cook.

Part of the weekend’s events was the launching of the Buckeye Funder, “Send a MGC member to Harvard.” The Men’s Glee Club has been invited to perform at the 2027 National IMC: The Tenor-Bass Choral Consortium. The conference (February 25–27) will be held on the campus of Harvard University. The Men's Glee Club will be featured on the closing concert — Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m.
