Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

FERMATA — Fostering Empathy and Resilience through Music and Therapeutic Arts

FERMATA is a new initiative that provides an artist-in-residence program and performance opportunities for School of Music students, faculty and staff. These performances benefit patients, caregivers, staff and visitors at The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute

This concert series is presented in partnership with Peggy Kohler, performing and visual arts program manager at The James and the Heather Pick Music Program, therefore expanding an existing initiative. Performances also take place at OSUCCC — The James ambulatory sites; OSU East, OSU Brain and Spine, the Gynecological Oncology Clinic at Mill Run, Martha Morehouse Medical Plaza and the Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Brain Center.
