Facilities

From the North:

  • Take I-270 to 315 South
  • Take 315 South to Lane Avenue exit
  • Turn left onto Lane Avenue
  • Follow Lane Avenue east across the bridge and into campus to High Street
  • Turn right onto High Street and follow it south to the Ohio Union South Garage on your right (see "Parking Information" below).

From the South, East and West:

  • Take I-70 or I-670 to 315 North
  • Take 315 North to Lane Avenue exit
  • Turn right onto Lane Avenue
  • Follow Lane Avenue east across the bridge and into campus to High Street
  • Turn right onto High Street and follow it south to the Ohio Union South Garage on your right (see "Parking Information" below). 

Parking Information

GARAGES

Convenient parking is available close to the School of Music. Weekday visitors (until 4 p.m. Mon.–Fri.) must use the Ohio Union SOUTH Garage, which is open to campus visitors 24/7.

Evening and weekend visitors may use the Ohio Union SOUTH Garage, Arps Garage or Ohio Union NORTH garage as noted below.

  • Take your ticket with you! Pay ticket before returning to your vehicle in Ohio Union South Garage ("Pay-on-Foot")Ohio Union South Garage, 1759 North High Street (next to the Ohio Union), is accessible from both High Street and College Road (just north of 12th Avenue). This garage is open for visitors 24 hours/day, 7 days/week and equipped with "Pay-On-Foot" machines. Take your ticket with you when you leave your car and pay "on foot" at the machine before returning to your car to exit. (Visitors walking south on College Road from Weigel will find the closest machine at Ground floor elevator lobby at left as they enter South Garage.)
  • Arps Garage, located at 1990 College Road, is one block north of Weigel and Hughes Halls. This garage is open to visitors Monday Friday after 4 p.m. and 24 hours on weekends.
  • Ohio Union North Garage, located at 1780 College Road, is open to visitors Monday Friday after 4 p.m. and 24 hours on weekends.

All parking garages and parking lots have designated visitor disability parking spaces.

Pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists are urged to be aware of their surroundings and proceed with caution due to traffic patterns impacted by construction. For your safety and the safety of others, please observe all signage on or near sidewalks and use designated crosswalks. Jaywalking is prohibited.
 

Bus Transportation

Bus information and schedules are available for the Campus Area Bus Service (CABS) and Columbus city buses (COTA, Central Ohio Transit Authority). Additional transportation options and other information may be found at Ohio State's Transportation and Traffic Management website.
