Featuring solo and chamber performances by School of Music students who are chosen by their instructors, spotlighting the "best of the best" undergraduate and graduate students in the school. They will present selections by Claude Debussy, Paul Smadbeck, Ernst Sachse, Igor Stravinsky, Eric Whitacre and John Tavener.
Performers include Jingbei Li, piano; Amelia DuPlain, marimba; Brooklyn Howell, trumpet; Michael Blaha, clarinet; the vocal duos Alyssa Schott with pianist Kristin Schoeff, and Nadia Marshall with Sam Johnson, cello. The Art Blakey Combo, led by Anthony Stanco, presents a jazz selection.
Attendance (in person) is mandatory for all School of Music undergraduate students.
The Honors Recital is free and open to the public. No ticket required.
