C. Patrick Woliver advocates a holistic approach to vocal pedagogy that combines the principles of "Bel Canto" with a cultivated mind/body method for achieving optimum performance. As a performer, Woliver has been recognized for his study and performance of the music of Benjamin Britten and American composer, Jeffrey Wood. He was a guest recitalist at the 47th Aldeburgh Festival in England, and he made his Carnegie Hall recital debut with a performance in the Weill Recital Hall in 1994. Woliver has performed in opera, oratorio, and musical theater throughout the United States, including performances at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. Woliver received his BM and MM in voice from the University of Tennessee and his DMA in vocal performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
