Sean O’Brien, a low brass graduate teaching associate, received his Bachelor of Music in Performance from The Ohio State University. His primary low brass influences are James Akins and Tucker Jolly.

Most recently, O’Brien placed as a semi-finalist in The United States Army Field Band (Washington, DC) euphonium audition. O’Brien frequently performs with The Akron Symphonic Winds and The Freedom Brass Band in Northeast Ohio.

O’Brien maintains an active private studio based in the Greater Columbus area.
