Meagan Gaskill is a second-year master's student working toward an MM in flute performance and an MA in Music Theory. At Ohio State, she serves as a graduate teaching associate for Music Theory and Aural Training, and is treasurer of the Graduate Music Student Association and Vice President of the Central Ohio Flute Association. As a flutist, she won national competitions including the Central Ohio Flute Association Young Artist Competition and the National Flute Association Professional Flute Choir Competition. Prior to attending Ohio State, she completed an interim program for flute with Jill Felber at UC–Santa Barbara. Meagan studied at Pacific Lutheran University where she earned a BM in Flute Performance and a BS in Mathematics. At Pacific Lutheran, she served as the teaching assistant for Music Theory II and III and tutored undergraduate and graduate students at the Writing Center. She has worked as an online tutor for four years, tutoring students across the United States and around the world in flute, music theory, math and writing.
