Meagan Gaskill is a second-year doctoral student pursuing a DMA in flute performance and a Graduate Certificate in College and University Teaching. She serves as the graduate teaching associate for the flute studio and as coordinator of the Buckeye Flutes. Meagan is also president of both the Central Ohio Flute Association and the Graduate Music Student Association. While pursuing her master's degree at Ohio State, she received a Fellowship Award, and taught both Music Theory and Aural Training I and II. Meagan has won competitions including the Central Ohio Flute Association Young Artist Competition and the National Flute Association Professional Flute Choir Competition, as well as concerto competitions at Ohio State and Pacific Lutheran University. Prior to attending Ohio State, she studied flute with Jill Felber at UC–Santa Barbara through an interim-year program, and with Dr. Jennifer Rhyne at Pacific Lutheran University. At PLU, Meagan served as the teaching assistant for Music Theory II and III, and tutored undergraduate and graduate students at the Writing Center.
