Women's Glee program, "Fire, Women and the Sea: the Mighty Three" — Aesop, emphasizes the strength of Womxn in the face of formidable forces. The elemental influences of fire and water are highlighted as agents of adaptation, endurance and creation in the songs of Hildegard von Bingen, Clara Schumann, Andrea Ramsey and Sara Bareilles, among others. Conductors Colin Knoth (University Chorus) and Jordan Saul (Women's Glee); Casey L. Cook, collaborative pianist. This concert is free and open to the public. No ticket required. GETTING HERE Park in the Ohio Union South Garage (open to visitors 24/7), walk North along College Rd. to enter the South doors of the Timashev Music Building. Weigel Auditorium is located on the second floor at the far south end of the building. An open stairway located just inside the south doors leads to the hall. If an elevator is needed, walk through the Music Commons, behind the open stairway to the back hallway. Follow the hallway through the double doors to the elevator.
