This day-long event for saxophone players is designed for jazz students at all levels. Directors are welcome, too! Topics will include improvisation, playing in a section, tuning and intonation, mouthpieces, and other instrument needs, practice routines and everything you need to know about playing jazz on your instrument. Led by outstanding teachers and performers from the jazz faculty at Ohio State, this one-day workshop will include a brief performance by an Ohio State student jazz ensemble and a faculty jazz combo. Come and join us for a fun-filled day of playing jazz!
Registrations must be postmarked by February 22. The fee is $15 per person.
