33rd Annual Flute Festival with guest artist Carol Wincenc

The Central Ohio Flute Association welcomes guest artist Carol Wincenc, one of the most acclaimed flutists performing today. Wincenc has appeared as soloist with major orchestras worldwide, was First Prize winner of the Walter W. Naumburg Solo Flute Competition and is currently professor of flute at both the Juilliard School of Music and the State University of New York in Stony Brook.

Carol Wincenc will share a recital with pianist Ed Bak at 1:00 p.m. and will present a master class with previous COFA competition winners from 3-5 p.m. in Weigel Auditorium.

Additional activities will include a flute choir showcase, competitions, national exhibitors and sessions on special topics. Visit cofa.osu.edu.
