Bak appointed Assistant Professor

The School of Music is pleased to announce the appointment of Ed Bak as assistant professor of music, specifically as vocal coach and collaborative pianist, a full-time tenure-track position beginning this semester.

Richard Blatti, School of Music director, expressed his appreciation for Bak's talent and dedication to colleagues and students: "...We  have been fortunate indeed to have retained Ed in this role as a lecturer for the last ten years and it is with great celebration that finally, we are able to acknowledge his many contributions to our school by employing him in a tenure-track position." Loretta Robinson, professor and area head of voice, congratulated Bak on behalf of the School of Music community during the recent Welcome Convocation for new and returning students, faculty and staff.
