Wind Symphony premieres new work by Cooper Wood
Wind Symphony's program of patriotic music, "America the Beautiful," features the World Premiere performance of composition student Cooper Wood's "Oppy's Last Days." Also programmed are works by Ryan Nowlin, Gustav Holst, William Schuman, David Gillingham, Carmen Dragon and John Philip Sousa.
Russel C. Mikkelson, conductor; Daniel Farr ("New England Triptych," Schuman) and Dustin Ferguson ("Hammersmith: Prelude and Scherzo," Holst), guest conductors; Cooper Wood, composer-in-residence.
Livestream broadcast begins at 8 p.m.

Masks are optional on campus and on public transportation. They remain required in health care settings.
