
The OSU Wind Symphony and Chamber Ensembles present "The Pines of Rome," a program featuring the work of the same name by Ottorino Respighi, transcribed for wind ensemble by Guy Duker. Russel C. Mikkelson conducts.
Six student chamber ensembles will perform works by Alfred Uhl, Zempleni Laszlo, Pierre Max Dubois, Anthony Plog, Astor Piazzolla, and Johannes Brahms. Performing groups include a clarinet quartet (Amy Conley, Rachel Tookolo, Katrina Veno, Garrett Lefkowitz), the Firebird Flute Trio (Chelsea Tanner, Erin Steele, Kari Boyer), the Crimson Saxophone Quartet (Jerry Lillie, Mark Wallace, Aaron Dvorak, Andrew Lawrence), 'Dat Brass Tuba Quartet (Julia Ware, Adam Bailey, James M. Green and Jack Worth), sync|duo (Katie Kuvin, flute; Daniel Kozlowski, percussion), and a horn trio (Joshua Robinson, horn; Devin Copfer, violin; Megan Rainey, piano).
