In addition to visiting local schools, performing at the Latin American Music Celebration Concert and at the Ohio Latin Americanist Conference, Fabio presents a recital with collaborative pianist Jiung Yoon. Sponsored by the Center for Latin American Studies.Programmed works are Amancio Alcorta's Gran Fantasía para flauta y piano, and two pieces by Alberto Williams — La colina sombreada para flauta y piano and Sonata Op. 48 para flauta y piano.Fabio Mazzitelli, born in Argentina, is principal flute of the Orquesta Estable of the Colón Theater in Buenos Aires. He is also a tenured professor of flute at the Conservatory of Music of Buenos Aires, and the National University for the Arts.
