Katherine Borst Jones, flute and Caroline Hartig, clarinet will be joined by pianist Edward Bak for an evening of music for their respective instruments. Dedicated to their teacher and mentor, Dr. Donald E. McGinnis, who will celebrate his 97th birthday later in October, the concert will feature the world premiere of Eternal Time by Ohio State alumnus, Roger Cichy. The piece features a poem by the composer's father, Daniel R. Cichy. Compositions by Malcolm Arnold, Antoni Szalowski, Charles Koechlin, Ernest Bloch, Victor Herbert and Heitor Villa-Lobos will complete the program.This event is free and open to the public.
