"Trombone through Time"
Elisabeth Shafer, visiting assistant professor of trombone, presents a recital of works from the 18th through 21st centuries, in collaboration with Jiung Yoon, pianist. Two works are Shafer's arrangements. Programmed selections are Concerto for Alto Trombone, J. G. Albrechtsberger; Mache Diche, mein Herze, rein, J. S. Bach/arr. E. Shafer; Prelude in G-flat Major, Rachmaninoff/arr. E. Shafer; Concerto for Trombone, George Walker; Reflective Mood, Sammy Nestico.

Park in the Arps Garage (open to visitors M–F after 4 p.m. and on weekends) just north of the Timashev Music building.
The Timashev Recital Hall is located on the ground floor, at the far north end of the building.
