Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Events for School Groups

Our Youth Concerts, held in Mershon Auditorium, are open to school groups of various ages. Check each event for details. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis (no tickets will be issued).

  • A registration form opens on both the Celebration Youth Concert and Marching Band Youth Concert web pages in early September. Both concerts usually sell out, so register your group as early as you can. Refunds will be issued if the School of Music must cancel the event.


As part of the Annual Ohio State Jazz Festival held in late March, high school jazz combos and big bands of all ability levels are invited to attend High School Jazz Band Day.
