Mitch Staples, piano technician, joined the School of Music staff in 1996, and is a past president of the Columbus Chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild. Prior to this appointment, he maintained and serviced pianos for the Steinway Concert and Artist Program in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. areas as an employee of Jordan Kitt's Music. Staples received his BM at Iowa State University and also studied at the Niles Bryant School of Piano Tuning and Techniques in Sacramento, California.
