Professor Jon Woods, bands and music education, is the 2011 - 2012 recipient of the Arts anc Sciences Student Council Outstanding Teaching Award.  This award recognizes a faculty member for excellence in teaching and is particularly notable because the selection process is completely administered by students - from nomination through selection.
