Symphony of Psalms texts are derived from Ps. 38, 39 (KJV 39 and 40) and Ps. 150. The composer stated, "It is not a symphony in which I have included Psalms to be sung. On the contrary, it is the singing of the Psalms that I am symphonizing."Also programmed: Stravinsky's Octet for Winds (1923, rev. 1952) featuring student instrumentalists, and J. S.
