17th Ohio State University High School Percussion Ensemble Festival
Featuring guest artists Anders Åstrand (Internationally renowned percussion soloist/educator) and Ashley Summerlin (performer/educator, Carmel High School, RhythmX, Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps).
This annual festival includes concerts, clinics, master classes and more! Participating schools and directors include:

Friday, February 17
- 4:30 — Honors Ensemble Rehearsals
- 7:30 — FESTIVAL OPENING CONCERT
Featuring Anders Åstrand, Ashley Summerlin, Susan Powell, Joseph Krygier, Amelia Duplain, and the Ohio State Percussion Ensemble
Saturday, February 18
- 8 a.m.–4 p.m. — High School Percussion Ensemble performances (refer to the schedule above), guest artist clinics, honors ensemble rehearsal, directors' ensemble rehearsal
- 7:30 — FESTIVAL CLOSING CONCERT
Featuring selected schools from the day’s performances and The Ohio State University Percussion Ensemble

GETTING HERE
While the new building for Theatre, Film and Media Arts remains under construction, the north side of the Timashev Music Building remains closed.
Park in the Ohio Union South Garage (open to visitors 24/7), walk north along College Rd. to enter the south doors of the Timashev Music Building.
Weigel Auditorium is located on the second floor at the far south end of the building. An open stairway located just inside the south doors leads to the hall.
- If an elevator is needed, walk through the Music Commons, behind the open stairway to the back hallway. Follow the hallway through the double doors to the elevator.
