The School of Music presents the fourth concert of the Outdoor Concert Series, starting at 5 p.m. on the 15th Ave. Plaza, near the front entrance to the Wexner Center for the Arts. Student soloists and chamber groups will perform works by Weill, Ford, Menotti, Menken, Tyson and a variety of Russian composers. Performers include Sophia Longo, voice and Jiung Yoon, piano; Donna Brown, marimba; Karenna Peterson, voice and Ed Bak, piano; Kevin Campbell, voice; Hannah Moore, marimba; and the Buckeye Basses who will play traditional Russian music from the Romantic period including selections by Prokofiev, Tschesnokoff, Khachaturian and Rimsky-Korsakov. Malik Khalfani conducts the Buckeye Basses: Dallas Carpenter, Grace Cooper, Jimmy Perera, Cameron Lucas, Dirui Jiang, Jane Haberle, Braedon Salisbury, Samantha Marcrum and Jacqueline Marshall.
