Saxophonists and saxophone enthusiasts of all ages and levels of interest are invited to join us for this special event.
Enjoy performances and master classes by guest artists from across the country:
Zach Shemon, professor of saxophone at the University of Missouri–Kansas City Conservatory and alto saxophonist/co-artistic director of the PRISM Quartet.
The Iovi Saxophone Quartet:

- 10 a.m. — Faculty recital: Michael Rene Torres
- 10:30 — Warm-up / Technique lecture
- 11 a.m. — College master class: Zach Shemon
- 12:30 p.m. — Break
- 1:45 — Guest artist recital: Iovi Saxophone Quartet
- 2:45 — Quartet master class: Iovi Saxophone Quartet
- 4 p.m. — High school master class: Michael Rene Torres
- 5:30 — Guest artist recital: Zach Shemon

Getting Here
Park in the Ohio Union South Garage (open to visitors 24/7), walk north along College Rd. to enter the south doors of the Timashev Music Building.
Weigel Auditorium is located on the second floor at the far south end of the building. An open stairway located just inside the south doors leads to the hall.
- If an elevator is needed, walk through the Music Commons, behind the open stairway to the back hallway. Follow the hallway through the double doors to the elevator.
You may also park in Arps Garage (open to visitors M–F after 4 p.m. and on weekends) just north of the Timashev Music building.
