George Lopez, Robert Beckwith artist-in-residence and director of orchestra at Bowdoin College, and pianist Guli (Gulimina Mahamuti) present a talk and short performance during the piano studio hour.
Duo Mundi George & Guli have thrilled audiences around the world with their exciting, innovative, diverse and intimate programming style. They have explored music for both one piano four hands and two piano four hands in the standard and contemporary repertoire as well as commissioned new works by national and international composers such as Ratko Delorko and Lucas Richman. GETTING HERE
Park in the Ohio Union South Garage (open to visitors 24/7), walk North along College Rd. to enter the South doors of the Timashev Music Building.
You may also park in Arps Garage (open to visitors M–F after 4 p.m. and on weekends) just North of the Timashev Music building.
The Timashev Recital Hall is located on the ground floor, at the far north end of the building.
