Guest Artists: Wesley Baldwin, cello with Nicholas Ross, piano
Wesley Baldwin, cello, and Nicholas Ross, piano, present a program including the complete works for cello and piano by Frédéric Chopin. Baldwin serves as professor of cello at the University of Tennessee, and performs widely as soloist and chamber musician. Dr. Ross is newly appointed associate professor of piano at Otterbein University.The duo will open the program with J. S. Bach's Suite Number 6 in D major, BWV 1012. The Chopin selections they will perform are Grand Duo concertant Sur des Themes de "Robert le Diable" (Chopin and Franchomme); Sonata in G minor, opus 65; and the Polonaise Brillante, opus 3 (Chopin, arr. E. Feuermann).
