The Chris Norman Ensemble presents traditional music of maritime Canada. Chris Norman, flutes, pipes and vocals; Andy Thurston, guitar and mandola; Kris Saebo, bass. Selections include Irish, French, Scottish music; folk songs and dances from the collections of Patrick MacDonald, Kerr, Ryan's Mammoth, Gow, Bremner, Dow, Althol and others; also featuring a number of original compositions by Chris Norman. School of Music students participating with the ensemble include John Li and Abi Norman, violin; Tanner Otto, viola and Rachel Caserta, cello; with harp professor Jeanne Norton.
