29th Annual Music Celebration Concert 12/1/23

Friday, Dec. 1, 2023  •  7:30 p.m.

The Ohio State University School of Music
Mershon Auditorium

WELCOME

Season’s greetings and a hearty welcome to the 29th Annual Music Celebration Concert.

It brings us immense pleasure to host this cherished event once again at our campus. This unique concert serves as a stage for our students, the lifeblood of the School of Music, to showcase their passion. We come together to share, express and celebrate joy with one another. Your presence makes it all the more meaningful and delightful.

This evening's program is a vibrant tapestry of music, painted with broad strokes of diverse musical expressions and sentiments. From love to laughter, melancholy to optimism, and festivity to contemplation, each piece is intricately woven in the spirit of the season.

I extend my deepest appreciation to the dedicated students, faculty and staff whose collective talents have been instrumental in orchestrating this evening's performance. A special note of thanks to Dr. Robert Ward, whose coordination has been an effortless blend of elegance and efficiency. To all of you gracing us with your presence, your involvement and backing of the School of Music continues to inspire us. We eagerly await your next visit and wish you a holiday brimming with cheer.

Sincerely,
