Piccolo Duo

Meagan Gaskill is a flutist, soprano, and music theorist based in Columbus, Ohio. She will graduate from Ohio State this spring with a DMA in flute performance and a Certificate in College and University Teaching. She performs with the Columbus-based chamber ensemble, Zephyr Winds, and has served as a graduate teaching associate at Ohio State for the flute studio, music theory and aural training. Her teachers include Katherine Borst Jones, Jill Felber and Jennifer Rhyne.

Katherine “Katie” Sharp (she/her) is a first-year DMA student at The Ohio State University where she studies with Katherine Borst Jones. Currently she serves as a graduate teaching associate in flute, and has previously taught music theory, aural skills, and musicology. Her other primary flute teachers include George Pope, Randy Hester, and Nicole Charles. Katie also serves as the Exhibits Coordinator for the Central Ohio Flute Association and as co-secretary for the Graduate Music Student Association.
