Staff and counselors, many of whom are either current students or alumni of the flute studio at Ohio State, mentor and coach the Flute Workshop attendees; this recital gives each counselor an opportunity to demonstrate their artistry for the young flutists and general public.
Works for flute solo or flute and piano will be performed by Lauren Parrett, Grace Reven, Coral Varian, Ray Johnson, Jonathan Mitchell, Susan O'Rourke, Allie Gerckens, Meagan Gaskill, Arianna Bendit, Jiwoon Choi and Yuanzhu Chen; with collaborative pianist Jiung Yoon.
This recital is free and open to the public. It will be held in the new Timashev Family Music Building. Park in the Ohio Union South Garage and walk North on College Ave. Directions
