Staff and counselors, many of whom are either current students or alumni of the flute studio at Ohio State, mentor and coach the Flute Workshop attendees; this recital gives each counselor an opportunity to demonstrate their artistry for the young flutists and general public.
Works for flute solo or flute and piano will be performed by Sunny Jiang, Kayla Reid, Coral Varian, Grace Reven, Ray Johnson, Allie Gerckens, Jonathan Mitchell, Sofia Geelhood, Braden Stewart, Susan O'Rourke, Katie Sharp, Meagan Gaskill and Arianna Bendit; with collaborative pianist Jiung Yoon.
This recital is free and open to the public.

GETTING HERE
While the new building for Theatre, Film and Media Arts remains under construction, the north side of the Timashev Music Building remains closed.
Park in the Ohio Union South Garage (open to visitors 24/7), walk north along College Rd. to enter the south doors of the Timashev Music Building.
The Timashev Recital Hall is located on the ground floor, at the far north end of the building.
