For the 2025–2026 school year
In order to accommodate the numerous scheduling needs in our performance spaces, please follow these procedures to schedule faculty and guest recitals. Due to the expected student recital needs, it is necessary to limit these events to the earlier time periods of each semester.
Two separate performance series are available for faculty and guests — a Mondays at 7:30 p.m. concert series, and a Tuesdays at 5 p.m. Rush Hour concert series.
The 7:30 p.m. Monday series involves the typical evening performance, 60–90 minutes in length, with intermission. Collaborative events are strongly encouraged.
The 5 p.m. Tuesday Rush Hour series is intended to target audiences (including our larger campus community) who might prefer an earlier concert experience. These performances are to be 45–50 minutes in length, with no intermission. Due to Autumn 2025 class schedules in the recital hall, Rush Hour dates are offered in Spring 2026 only.
Dates in the Timashev Recital Hall (TMV N120) have been reserved for both series. Request your dates using a link to be provided below within the next week. Requests will be handled in the order in which they are time stamped. It is strongly recommended that requesters provide a first, second and third choice. Any date that has been both claimed and confirmed will be labeled "filled" in the list below.
Please note that any dates scheduled less than thirty (30) days prior may not have the full benefit of School of Music marketing services (publicity, programs) or crew services (stage crew, recording). Dates not claimed 30 days prior may be released.

NEW for 2025–2026
In order to accommodate more performers and encourage versatility with our series, scheduling priority will be given to those who did not perform a recital during the previous academic year.
Monday, April 14 — scheduling requests will be accepted for faculty who did NOT perform during the 2024–2025 season. This window is only for current faculty requesting recital dates, not guest requests.
Monday, April 21— scheduling requests will be accepted for both faculty and guest dates.
If you wish to utilize a date outside of these pre-booked series dates, you can request an exception via the second link below. Note that there is no guarantee for availability of spaces, dates or stage crew assistance. Exception requests will be funneled through both the concert committee and scheduling (Tim Donel) for approval, and may involve longer turn-around notification time as a result. Please note that exceptions for performances outside of the time periods already booked in the early part of each semester are likely to be denied due to student recital needs.
If an event is being planned that requires the larger hall (Weigel Auditorium), contact Tim Donel for availability. Note that this will also need to be in the earlier part of the semester.
Reservations will be limited initially to one per faculty member for each semester.
Any date that is both claimed and confirmed will be labeled "filled" in the list below.
