Our first post-COVID concert with an audience – what an exciting opportunity! Presented at North Broadway United Methodist Church, this concert is free and open to the public.
University Chorus' program includes selections in four languages. Charlotte Geary and Jorge M. Cruz Ibarra, who both sing in the ensemble, coached the Hebrew and Spanish. University Chorus is excited to have the opportunity to sing with faculty tenor, C. Andrew Blosser, assistant professor of practice in voice. Graduate conducting students Ariel Alvarado and Bram Wayman are also featured.
Women's Glee Club focuses on themes of death, birth and life, sung in Latin, French and English. Selections by Orbán, Hagenberg, Chausson/Valverde, Boykin, Erlewine/Brown among others. Bram Wayman, conducting/percussion; Grace Cooper, electric bass.
Robert Ward (University Chorus) and Jordan Saul (Women's Glee), conductors. Casey L. Cook is the collaborative pianist for both ensembles.
