Soprano Kimberly Monzón recently relocated from New York City, and is currently pursuing her DMA in voice with a specialization in Singing Health as a full fellowship student at The Ohio State University under renowned baritone Robin Rice. Last season Kimberly performed Magda in La rondine with OSU Opera & Lyric Theatre, and will also perform the title role in the world premiere of Ramala by Charles Wakefield Cadman. She holds her MM in voice performance from the University of Houston, and a BM in voice performance from the Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Kimberly has worked with prominent singers, teachers, coaches and conductors such as Jane Eaglen, Robert Larsen, Dean Williamson, Joseph Evans and Michael Cousins. She holds full membership with the National Association of Teachers of Singing and maintains an active private voice studio.
