Yanyan Lin is currently a DMA candidate and graduate associate in voice performance at The Ohio State University under the tutelage of Professor Scott McCoy. In 2018, Yanyan won the Encourage award in Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions (Pittsburgh District). Recently, she performed the role Papagena in Mozart’s opera, The Magic Flute in the Miami Music Festival with full orchestra. Outside of music, Yanyan enjoys running, yoga and swimming. Prior to doctoral studies, she received her bachelor's and master’s degrees in voice performance at Nanjing Normal University, China.
