VIVO and Sandbox Percussion look forward to rescheduling this event and want to thank the School of Music and all of our amazing supporters who bought tickets!

Although Seven Pillars is postponed, Victor Caccese from Sandbox Percussion will still join VIVO to play Andy Akiho's "LIgNEouS I" at VIVO: Virtuosity on Saturday, Sept. 9 with Chamber Music Columbus! Don't miss it!

Sandbox Percussion’s 2021 album Seven Pillars was nominated for two GRAMMY® awards — Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance and Best Contemporary Classical Composition. Sandbox Percussion performed Seven Pillars over 15 times recently, with sold-out stops throughout the United States and Europe. In October 2022 they performed the work live with the LA Dance Project and choreographer Benjamin Millepied at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
GETTING HERE
Park in the Ohio Union South Garage (open to visitors 24/7), walk north along College Rd. to enter the nouth doors of the Timashev Music Building.
Weigel Auditorium is located on the second floor at the far south end of the building. An open stairway located just inside the south doors leads to the hall.
- If an elevator is needed, travel through the Music Commons at the south end of the building, to the hallway to the right of the restrooms. Follow the hallway through the double doors to the Weigel Auditorium elevator.
