
As part of her visit to Ohio State, guest pianist Uta Weyand holds a master class with five students — soloists Jairui Mai, Conor Smyth-Small, Emily Foster, and a duet, Huiwen Jiang and Manuel Vizurraga.

Uta Weyand was born into a musical family in Reutlingen, Germany. The daughter of a Kapellmeister and an organist, she grew up with the choral, orchestral and organ repertoire. Her musical talent became apparent during her childhood, when she played the piano and violin, composed music and received vocal training. Read more.

Park in the Ohio Union South Garage (open to visitors 24/7), walk North along College Rd. to enter the South doors of the Timashev Music Building.
You may also park in Arps Garage (open to visitors M–F after 4 p.m. and on weekends) just North of the Timashev Music building.
The Timashev Recital Hall is located on the ground floor, at the far north end of the building.
