School of Music Convocation with Marty O'Donnell, composer of "Halo" soundtrack
The School of Music community welcomes guest speaker Marty O'Donnell, composer of the famous Halo soundtrack. Attendance is mandatory for all undergraduate and graduate music students.All are invited to attend An Evening with Marty O'Donnell at 8 p.m. in Weigel. Co-sponsored by The Ohio State University School of Music and the Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design (ACCAD). O'Donnell will share what it's like to compose jingles for TV commercials and then to work with the best video game developers in the world. He’ll also tell about his collaborations with Peter Dinklage and Paul McCartney and share some insights on the future of video games.
