2022-09-06 17:00:00 2022-09-06 18:00:00 Rush Hour Series: The Singleton Duo The Singleton Duo — Lynn Singleton, piano, and Edgar Singleton, cello, have been making music together for more than 40 years, performing a significant amount of the standard repertoire for cello and piano as well as the new and unexpected. Lynn Singleton is assistant professor of practice in the School of Music at The Ohio State University and maintains a private studio in Columbus. Edgar Singleton currently serves as principal cello of the Central Ohio Symphony Orchestra. Program selections include Sonata in G minor, G. F. Handel/arranged by August Lindner; Sonata No. 1 in G major, J. S. Bach; Two Madrigals by Carlos Chavez and Enrique Granados; and Libertango, Astor Piazzola/adapted by Joshua Parman. Access the digital Concert program (including artist biographies) before, during and after the performance. No paper programs will be distributed. All events are subject to change. GETTING HERE While the new building for Theatre, Film and Media Arts remains under construction, the North side of the Timashev Music Building remains closed.  Park in the Ohio Union South Garage (open to visitors 24/7), walk North along College Rd. to enter the South doors of the Timashev Music Building.
