Lyric Theatre Callbacks

Lyric Theatre autumn auditions will be held at the School of Music on Friday, August 23 from 6:30-10 p.m. with callbacks on Saturday, August 24 from 3-6 p.m. in Hughes Auditorium.

Performers are asked to prepare two contrasting songs or arias (one preferably in English). To schedule a preliminary audition time (Friday, August 23), please contact Benjamin Bunsold, graduate teaching associate for opera, at bunsold.5@osu.edu.

This season's Lyric Theatre performance opportunities include the autumn production of Scena Shakespearean: Scenes by the Bard, a Shakespeare-based scenes program (October 4 and 5), and participation in Opera Columbus' Madama Butterfly (November 22 and 24). In spring semester, OSU Lyric Theatre will present Benjamin Britten's The Rape of Lucretia (April 17 and 19)  and will collaborate with Opera Columbus on an educational outreach program, Opera Goes to School.
