Xinchen (Chen) Du is a DMA student at The Ohio State University under the mentorship of Dr. Caroline Hartig, and serves as a graduate teaching associate in clarinet. He is originally from Chengdu, China. He holds a Bachelor of Music in instrumental performance from Sichuan Normal University, and Master of Music from The Hartt School, University of Hartford, where he studied with Ayako Oshima Neidich.

In 2023 in Thailand, Chen Du won the bronze medal at the Thailand International Clarinet Competition. In 2019, he was invited to join The Hartt School’s modern chamber ensemble Foot In The Door, and participated in the recording of the ensemble's album, which was released by Naxos International Records.
