PROGRAM
We are thrilled to be back performing full orchestral music again this year. Our first concert opens with the Ballet Suite from Estancia by Ginastera in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month. We are also featuring two winners of last season’s DMA Competition — flutist Yuanzhu Chen and soprano Alexandria Schmidt, and we close with the joyous "Italian" Symphony by Mendelssohn. Lastly, the podium is shared among the graduate orchestral conducting students and myself.
