Flute Studio Reunion 2026

Flute Studio Reunion 2026

September 4 – 5

Ohio State Flute Studio Alumni and Current Students,

The Ohio State Flute Studio Reunion features YOU — all Ohio State Flute students and alumni — performing on piccolo The Stars and Stripes Forever by John Philip Sousa with The Ohio State University Marching Band for the "America 250" halftime show.

Nearly 75 piccolos on the field for the September 5 home game against Ball State.

Tentative Schedule

The schedule may change. We will provide a final schedule and details closer to the event.

  • Dinner is casual. We will all be in our rehearsal attire.

Saturday, Sept. 5

8 a.m. — Call time at Steinbrenner Band Center, followed by a rehearsal at the practice field, then an early lunch at the Steinbrenner Band Center.

Skull Session (St. John Arena)

Music

Please note that the version of “The Stars and Stripes Forever” that we will perform has changed from our 2019 appearance with the band!

The music will be provided, along with Lisa Galvin's arrangement of the British Grenadiers, which will be played at the beginning of the half-time show.

A link to the music for download will be sent to all registered participants after the deadline.

All music must be memorized.

Game Day Seating

Fifty (50) seats are available (with the band or in an adjacent section) for alumni on a first-come/first-served basis. You will request this on your registration form. Flute alumni only; no guests. Others may watch the game in the Stadium band center.
