Preliminary Auditions

Monday, Sept. 30 and Tuesday, Oct. 1
7 – 10 p.m.

Callback Auditions

Wednesday, Oct. 2
6 – 10 p.m.

Onstage in Hughes Hall Auditorium (H100)
1899 College Rd.

Prepare two musical selections, one up-tempo and one ballad. Limit selections to 16 bars (or thereabouts) so as not to be cut off prematurely. Preliminary audition slots are a total of 5 minutes per person. Bring sheet music with you, along with a performance resumé and headshot (if available). A pianist will be provided for each session. In addition, prepare a one-minute comedic or dramatic monologue from any stage or screen play, classic or contemporary. All roles are open to all genders, ages, races, ethnicities, physical “types” and abilities. Equal consideration is given to all current Ohio State graduate and undergraduate students in good academic standing regardless of their major. Students eventually cast will be required to register for MUSIC 3312 / 7780.12 (spring semester); meets Monday–Friday 4:10–6:20 p.m. Arrangements may be made for specific or recurring rehearsal schedule conflicts. Callback lists and material will be emailed after each preliminary session. Assume to be called back for a specific time period on Wednesday evening.
