Loretta Robinson, soprano, served as an associate professor of voice at Ohio State. Professor Robinson taught applied voice and voice pedagogy. She specializes in the application of the Berton Coffin Chromatic Vowel Chart. Robinson has performed in contemporary and standard oratorio repertoire with symphony orchestras throughout the United States, including the Chicago Chamber Orchestra and the Cincinnati Symphony under James Conlon. As a performing artist she has presented recitals throughout England with performances in Cambridge, Oxford, Aldeburgh, and London. Before joining the voice faculty at The Ohio State University in 1994, Robinson was an associate professor of music at Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana. Robinson holds the MM degree in vocal performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
