Tyler W. Robertson is a doctoral candidate pursuing a DMAs degree in Choral Conducting. He is the organist and assistant director of music at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Upper Arlington. He holds a BMus and MMus in Organ Performance from Baylor University where he studied with Joyce Jones. Called to a vocation in church music, Tyler has served most of the mainline Christian denominations as an organist and/or choirmaster for over 20 years. He moved to Columbus in 2012 and has since become frequently called upon as a recitalist and accompanist. In 2018, he returned to England to accompany the choir of First Congregational Church in its choral residencies at Norwich and Lincoln Cathedrals. Tyler is a long-time member of the American Guild of Organists and serves on the Executive Board of the Columbus Chapter. In 2015, he became an Associate of the AGO, one of only seven people in the U.S. to successfully do so that year. At Ohio State, Tyler is the assistant conductor of the Symphonic Choir and University Chorus and also teaches a section of choral sight reading.
