Kaity Catalfina is a graduate teaching associate who is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Music Education at The Ohio State University. She is passionate to share her love of music with students of all types. 

She has been teaching 5th–12th grades for four years in the Massillon City School District. In this position she has worked with junior high concert and jazz bands, and is as an assistant director for the Massillon Tiger Swing Band. As a performer, Catalfina has enjoyed playing trumpet in numerous community bands such as the Heisey Wind Ensemble, Canal Fulton Community Band, and the Canton Concert Band. 

She graduated from The Ohio State University with her Bachelor of Music Education (2021) and was a part of many ensembles at Ohio State including Wind Symphony and The Ohio State University Marching Band. During her time on campus, she was actively involved in Tau Beta Sigma, earning Most Inspirational Sister, and accepted several roles on the board including Vice President of Membership and Historian. 

In her free time, she enjoys singing with the worship team at her church, visiting Disney parks, and making a good iced coffee or tea. Kaitlyn Catalfina is excited to have the opportunity to further her career and hopes to continue teaching in K–12 schools.
