The recital will also feature a piece by Allen Sapp, a composer who lived in Ohio for most of his life.This event is free and open to the public. No ticket required. Li Wang, a native of Inner Mongolia, China, is celebrated for her emotional depth and musical maturity. Recently, she premiered the piano and violin version of Spring in Dresden by Chinese composer Chen Yi at Tsinghua University.As a soloist, Li has performed at prestigious concert halls across China, the United States and Europe, including the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Forbidden City Music Hall, Shenzhen Grand Theater, Shenzhen Concert Hall, Chicago Cultural Center, Nicolas Recital Hall, and Cremona City Music Hall. She made her orchestral debut in 2012 with the China Opera and Dance Drama Symphony Orchestra at the "Baoding" New Year Concert. Li's performances in Chicago earned her the 2014 and 2015 Showcase award, resulting in a 12-concert tour throughout the Chicago area, broadcast by the renowned WFMT radio station.
