Beverly Bletstein is an emeritus assistant professor of music. At the Ohio State Lima campus, she has coordinated arts activities and academic events, and taught music fundamentals, history, guitar, and methods for teaching elementary music.

She has appeared frequently in concert as a soprano soloist on campus and in the Lima community. Bletstein sang the role of Lucy in Menotti's The Telephone on the OSU-Lima stage and has also appeared as soloist for Schubert's Mass in G, the Christmas Oratorio by Camille Saint-Saëns, the "Dies Irae" from Requiem by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and at the Little Carnegie Performance Hall at Miller-Patterson Music during the annual Square Fair in Lima, Ohio.

Before coming to the Lima area, Bletstein performed regularly in Lansing, Michigan with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society and at the Michigan State University School of Music. She has assumed the role of opera director, stage and production manager, vocal coach, and publicist for productions on campus or in the greater Lima area. Currently Bletstein serves as stage manager for the Lima Symphony Orchestra.
